1 U.S. Code § 101
1 U.S. Code § 7 is about Enacting clause. It is under Chapter 2 (Acts and Resolutions; Formalities of Enactment; Repeals; Sealing of Instruments) of Title 1 (General Provisions) of the Code.
The enacting clause of all Acts of Congress shall be in the following form: “Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled.”
