2 U.S. Code § 2202: Designation and naming within the Capitol Visitor Center

2 U.S. Code § 2202

2 U.S. Code § 2202 is about Designation and naming within the Capitol Visitor Center. It is under Subchapter I (In General) of Chapter 31 (Capitol Visitor Center) of Title 2 (The Congress) of the Code.

(a) In general
Except as provided under subsection (b), no part of the Capitol Visitor Center may be designated or named without the approval of—
(1)not less than ¾ of all members on the Capitol Preservation Commission who are members of the Democratic party; and

(2)not less than ¾ of all members on the Capitol Preservation Commission who are members of the Republican party.


(b)Exception
Subsection (a) shall not apply to any room or space under the jurisdiction of the Senate or the House of Representatives.
