5 U.S. Code § 3112: Disabled veterans; noncompetitive

5 U.S. Code § 3112

5 U.S. Code § 3112 is about Disabled veterans; noncompetitive appointment. It is under Part 3 (Employees) Subpart B (Employment and Retention) Subchapter 1 (Employment Authorities) Chapter 31 (Authority For Employment) of Title 5 (Government Organizations and Employees) of the Code.

Under such regulations as the Office of Personnel Management shall prescribe, an agency may make a noncompetitive appointment leading to conversion to career or career-conditional employment of a disabled veteran who has a compensable service-connected disability of 30 percent or more.
