United Nations Security Council Resolution 142 – Admission of new Members to the UN: Republic of Congo

142 (1960). Resolution of 7 July 1960

The Security Council,

Having examined the application of the Republic of the Congo,

Recommends to the General Assembly that the Republic of the Congo be admitted to membership in the United Nations.

Adopted unanimously at the 872nd meeting.
