United Nations Security Council Resolution 155 – Admission of new Members to the UN: Cyprus

155 (1960). Resolution of 24 August 1960

The Security Council,

Having examined the application of the Republic of Cyprus,

Recommends to the General Assembly that the Republic of Cyprus be admitted to membership in the United Nations.

Adopted unanimously at the 892nd meeting.
