Section 22 Child’s Right Act

Section 22 Child’s Right Act 2003 is about Prohibition of child betrothal. It is under Part III (Protection of the Rights of a Child) of the Act.

(1) No parent, guardian or any other person shall betroth a child to any person.

(2) A betrothal in contravention of subsection (1) of this section is null and void.
