Section 224 Child’s Right Act

Section 224 Child’s Right Act 2003 is about Government to provide accommodation. It is under Part XX (Child Justice Administration – Adjudication) of the Act.

(1) Every State Government shall secure that it is in a position to comply with any security requirement which may be imposed on it under this Act.

(2) A State Government may discharge its duty under subsection (1) of this section by providing secure accommodation itself or making arrangements with any other authority or Stat Government for the provision of the accommodation.

(3) The Minister may by regulations make provision as to the co‐operation required of State Governments in the provision of secure accommodation.
