Section 47 National Health Act

Section 47 National Health Act 2014 is about Establishment of National Blood Transfusion Services. It is under Part VI (Control of Use of Blood, Blood Products, Tissue and Gametes in Humans) of the Act.

(1) The Minister shall establish the National Blood Transfusion service for the Federation.

(2) The Minister shall make regulations for the establishment and maintenance of the National Blood Transfusion Service.

(3) Without prejudice to the provision of sub-section (1) of this section, the States may set up Blood Transfusion Service as they find it appropriate within their jurisdiction.
