Section 462 Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020

Section 462 CAMA 2020

Section 462 Companies and Allied Matters Act is about Effect of non-disposal of winding-up petition on appointment of administrator. It is under Chapter 18 (Administration of companies: nature of administration) of the Act.

An administrator of a company shall not be appointed under section 459 of this Act where—

(a) a petition for the winding-up of the company has been presented andis not yet disposed of ;

(b) an administration application has been made and is not yet disposed of ; or

(c) a receiver of the company is in office.
