Section 485 Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020

Section 485 CAMA 2020

Section 485 Companies and Allied Matters Act is about Period within which to submit statement of affairs. It is under Chapter 18 (Administration of companies: nature of administration) of the Act.

(1) A person required to submit a statement of affairs shall do so before the end of 11 working days beginning with the day on which he receives notice of the requirement.

(2) The administrator may—

(a) revoke a requirement under section 484 (2) of this Act ; or

(b) extend the period specified in subsection (1), before or after expiration of the period.

(3) If the administrator refuses a request to act under subsection (2) (b)—

(a) the person whose request is refused may apply to the Court ; and

(b) the Court may take action as specified in subsection (2).
