Section 742 CAMA 2020

Section 742 Companies and Allied Matters Act is about Application by the Commission to the Court for directions. It is under Chapter 29 (Miscellaneous and supplemental application of this part) of the Act.

(1) The Commission may apply to the Court for directions in respect of any matter concerning its duties, powers and functions under this Act and, on any such application, the Court may give directions and make further order as it deems fit in the circumstances.

(2) Notwithstanding the provision of subsection (1), the Commission may conduct enquiries with respect to the compliance with the provisions of this Act by any person or company.
