Section 757 CAMA 2020
Section 757 Companies and Allied Matters Act is about Name. It is under Chapter 2 (Incorporation of limited liability partnership and incidental matters) of the Act.
(1) Every limited liability partnership shall have either the words,“limited liability partnership” or the acronym, “LLP” as the last words of its name.
(2) A limited liability partnership shall not be registered by a name which,in the opinion of the Commission is—
(a) undesirable ; or
(b) identical or too nearly resembles that of any other partnership,business name, limited liability partnership, body corporate, or a registered trade mark.
