Section 50 Electricity Act 2023
Section 50 of the Electricity Act 2023 is about Question of law may be referred to the Federal High Court. It is under Part V (Establishment, Functions and Powers of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission) of the Act.
(1) If a question of law arises from an order or decision of the Commission, the Commission may, on its initiative or at the request of any person directly affected by such order or decision, reserve that question for the determination of the Federal High Court.
(2) Where a question has been reserved under subsection (1), the Commission shall state the question in form of a special case and file with the Registrar of the Federal High Court.
