Section 39 Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018
Section 39 of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 is about Establishment of the Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal. It is under Part VII (The Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal) of the Act.
(1) There is established under this Act, the Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal (in this Act referred to as “the Tribunal”).
(2) The Tribunal shall adjudicate over conducts prohibited under this Act and exercise the jurisdiction, powers and authority conferred on it under this Act or any other enactment.
(3) The Tribunal shall keep records of its proceedings and have jurisdiction throughout the Federation.
