5 U.S. Code § 5709: Air evacuation patients

5 U.S. Code § 5709

5.U.S. Code § 5709 is about Air evacuation patients: furnished subsistence. It is under Subchapter I (Travel And Subsistence Expenses; Mileage Allowances) of Chapter 57 (Travel, Transportation, And Subsistence) of Subpart D (Pay and Allowances) of Part III (Employees) of Title 5 (Government Organizations and Employees) of the Code.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, and under regulations prescribed under section 5707 of this title, an employee and his dependents may be furnished subsistence without charge while being evacuated as a patient by military aircraft of the United States.
