Article 230 Revised Penal Code

Article 230 of the Revised Penal Code is about Public officer revealing secrets of private individual. It is under Chapter Five (Infidelity Of Public Officers) of Title Seven (Crimes Committed By Public Officers) of the Code.

Public officer revealing secrets of private individual.

Any public officer to whom the secrets of any private individual shall become known by reason of his office who shall reveal such secrets, shall suffer the penalties of arresto mayor and a fine not exceeding 1,000 pesos.
