Section 101 Electricity Act 2023

Section 101 of the Electricity Act 2023 is about Annual report. It is under Part VIII (Establishment of the National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission) of the Act.

(1) The Council shall prepare and submit to the President, not later than 30 June in each year, a report in such form as the President may direct on the activities of the N-HYPPADEC during the immediate preceding year and shall be included in the
report, a copy of the audited accounts of the N-HYPPADEC for that year and the
auditor’s report.

(2) The President shall, upon receiving of the report referred to in subsection (1), cause a copy of the report and the audited accounts of the N-HYPPADEC and the auditors report to be submitted to each House of the National Assembly.
