Section 106 Copyright Act

Section 106 Copyright Act 2022 is about Repeals and savings provisions. It is under Part XII (Miscellaneous Provisions) of the Act.

(1)The Copyright Act, Cap. C28, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 is repealed.

(2) Sections 491, 492 and 493 of the First Schedule to the Criminal Code Act and sections 426 and 427 of the Penal Code are hereby repealed.

(3) Without prejudice to section 6 of the Interpretation Act, the repeal of the enactment specified in subsection (1), shall not affect anything doneunder the enactment.
