Section 108 Electricity Act 2023

Section 108 of the Electricity Act 2023 is about Demarcation of transmission into National Control Centre. It is under Part IX (Transmission of Electricity) of the Act.

For the purpose of this Part, the successor transmission licensee or other transmission licensee may structure and demarcate system operation in the country into National Control Centre, Supplementary National Control Centre, and Regional Control Centres with such changes in the location and spread of the transmission infrastructure as may be necessary to facilitate interconnections and coordination of efficient transmission of generated power through the national grid.
