Section 112 Electricity Act 2023

Section 112 of the Electricity Act 2023 is about Public and private partnerships to facilitate transmission of electricity within a State. It is under Part IX (Transmission of Electricity) of the Act.

From the commencement of this Act, Federal or State Governments may enter into a public-private partnership arrangement with private companies for investment in the transmission network in accordance with section 109 of this Act and with the relevant framework on infrastructure concessions and public-private partnerships.
