Section 13 Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018
Section 13 of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 is about Validity of proceedings. It is under Part II (Establishment of the Federal Competition an Consumer Protection Commission) of the Act.
The validity of any proceeding of the Commission or committee set up under section 15 of this Act shall not be affected by –
(a) a vacancy in the membership of the Commission or committee;
(b) a defect in the appointment of a member of the Commission or committee; or
(c) reason that a person not entitled to do so took part in the proceedings of the Commission or committee.
