Section 144 Companies and Allied Matters Act is about Issue with rights attached. It is under Issue Of Shares of Chapter 8 of PART B (Incorporation of Companies and Incidental Matters) of the Act.
Issue with rights attached
Without prejudice to any special rights previously conferred on the holders of existing shares or class of shares, any share in a company may be issued with such preferred, deferred or other special rights or such restrictions, whether with regard to dividend, return of capital or otherwise, as the company may determine by ordinary resolution.
