Section 21 Child’s Right Act

Section 21 Child’s Right Act 2003 is about Prohibition of child marriage. It is under Part III (Protection of the Rights of a Child) of the Act.

No person under the age of 18 years is capable of contracting a valid marriage, and accordingly a marriage so contracted is null and void and of no effect whatsoever.
