Section 210 Child’s Right Act

Section 210 Child’s Right Act 2003 is about Report of the legal status and rights of the child. It is under Part XX (Child Justice Administration – General) of the Act.

The legal status and fundamental rights of the child set out in Part II of this Act, and in particular‐
(a) the presumption of innocence;
(b) the right to be notified of the charges;

(c) the right to remain silent;
(d) the right to the presence of a parent or guardian;
(e) the right to legal representation and free legal aid, shall be respected in the administration of the child justice system set out in this Act.
