Section 216 Electricity Act 2023

Section 216 of the Electricity Act 2023 is about False declaration. It is under Part XX (Offences and Penalties) of the Act.

A person who, in any declaration required to be made under this Act, makes any Statement which he knows to be false or does not have reasonable grounds to believe to be true, commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not more than 100,000 or to imprisonment for a term not more than six months or both.
