Section 22 Nigerian Copyright Act 2022

Section 22 Copyright Act

Section 22 Copyright Act 2022 is about Recording of broadcasts by educational establishments. It is under Part II (Exceptions to Copyright) of the Act.

(1) Subject to subsection (2), the recording of a broadcast or cable programme or a copy of such a recording by or on behalf of an educational establishment for educational purposes of that establishment
shall not infringe the copyright in the broadcast or cable programme or in any work included in it.

(2) Subsection (1) shall not apply to the extent that there is a licensing scheme for the purposes.
