Section 223 Electricity Act 2023

Section 223 of the Electricity Act 2023 is about Jurisdiction to try offences. It is under Part XX (Offences and Penalties) of the Act.

(1) The Federal High Court and the State High Courts shall both have concurrent jurisdiction to try offences under this Act.

(2) The court shall ensure that al! matters brought before it under the provisions of this Act against any person, body or authority shall be conducted with dispatch and given accelerated hearing.
