Section 24 Copyright Act

Section 24 Copyright Act 2022 is about Subsequent dealings with authorised copies. It is under Part II (Exceptions to Copyright) of the Act.

(1) Where a copy of a work authorised under sections 21, 22 and 23 of this Act is subsequently dealt with by way of sale, offering for sale or rental, it shall be treated as an infringing copy for the purposes of that dealing.

(2) Where a person requesting a copy makes a declaration that is false in a material particular and is supplied with the copy, which would have been an infringing copy, if made by him, that person shall be liable for infringement of copyright as if, he had made the copy himself and the copy supplied shall be treated as an infringing copy
