Section 265 of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria

Section 265 of the Constitution of Nigeria 1999 is about Establishment of the Customary Court of Appeal of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. It is under F (The Customary Court of Appeal of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja) of Part I (Federal Courts) of Chapter VII (The Judicature) of the Constitution.

(1) There shall be a Customary Court of Appeal of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

(2) The Customary Court of Appeal of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja shall consist of –
(a) a President of the Customary Court of Appeal; and
(b) such number of Judges of the Customary Court of Appeal as may be prescribed by an Act of the National Assembly.
