Section 36 of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 is about Destruction of records. It is under Part VI (Enforcement Warrants and Requests for Information) of the Act.

A person who destroys any record which may be required by the Commission for the performance of any of its functions under this Act, with intent to mislead the Commission or to prevent or impede any investigation or inquiry under this Act, commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a term of imprisonment for three years or a fine not exceeding N50,000,000.00 or both the fine and imprisonment.
