Section 38 Land Use Act

Section 38 of the Nigerian Land Use Act is about Preservation of power of Governor to revoke rights of occupancy. It is under Part VI (Transitional and other related provisions) of the Act.

Nothing in this Part shall be construed as precluding the exercise by the Governor or as the case may be the Local Government concerned of the powers to revoke, in accordance with the applicable provisions of this Act, rights of occupancy, whether statutory or customary, in respect of any land to which this Part relates.
