Section 55 Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018
Section 55 of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 is about Judicial review by the Court of Appeal. It is under Part VII (The Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal) of the Act.
(1) Any party to a proceeding who is not satisfied with a ruling, award or judgment of the Tribunal may appeal to the Court of Appeal upon giving notice in writing to the Secretary to the Tribunal within 30 days after the date on
which the mling, award or judgment was given.
(2) A notice of appeal filed pursuant to subsection (1) shall set out all the grounds on which the review is sought.
(3) Upon the receipt of a notice of appeal under subsections (1) and (2), the Secretary to the Tribunal shall cause the notice to be given to the Chief Registrar of the Court of Appeal along with the record of proceedings and exhibits tendered at the hearing before the Tribunal.
