Section 570 CAMA 2020

Section 570 Companies and Allied Matters Act is about Jurisdiction as to Winding-up. It is under Chapter 21 (Winding-up by the court jurisdiction) of the Act.

(1) The Court having jurisdiction to wind up a company is the Federal High Court within whose area of jurisdiction the registered office orhead office of the company is situate.

(2) For the purpose of this section, “registered office” or “head office”means the place which has longest been the principal place of business of the company during the six months immediately preceding the presentation of the petition for winding-up.
