Section 649 CAMA 2020

Section 649 Companies and Allied Matters Act is about Power to order winding-up subject to supervision. It is under Chapter 23 (Winding-up subject to supervision of court) of the Act.

If a company passes a resolution for voluntary winding-up, the Court may on petition order that the voluntary winding-up shall continue but subject to such supervision of the Court, and with such liberty for creditors,contributories, or others to apply to the Court, and generally on such terms and conditions, as the court deems fit.
