Section 652 CAMA 2020

Section 652 Companies and Allied Matters Act is about Power of Court to appoint and remove liquidators. It is under Chapter 23 (Winding-up subject to supervision of court) of the Act.

(1) Where an order is made for a winding-up subject to supervision,the Court may, by the same or any subsequent order, appoint an additional liquidator.

(2) A liquidator appointed by the Court under this section shall have the same powers, be subject to the same obligations, and in all respects stand inthe same position, as if he had been duly appointed in accordance with the provisions of this Act with respect to the appointment of liquidators in a voluntary winding-up.

(3) The Court may remove any liquidator so appointed by the Court orany liquidator continued under the supervision order, and may fill any vacancy occasioned by the removal, or by death or resignation.
