Section 75 Civil Aviation Act 2022
Section 75 of the Civil Aviation Act 2022 is about Trespass on aerodromes. It is under Part XI (Provision of Aerodromes and Control of Land for Aviation Purposes) of the Act.
(1) Subject to subsection (2), any person who trespasses on any land forming part of an aerodrome, or upon which navigational aids or any ancillary facility is situated commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of at least N500,000 or imprisonment for a term of at least six months or both.
(2) A person shall not be liable under this section, unless it is proved that at the material time, notices warning trespassers of their liability under this section were posted, so as to be readily seen and read by members of the
public, in such position on or near the boundary of the aerodrome or land upon which any navigational aid or ancillary facility is situated as appear to the court to be proper.
