Section 77 Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018

Section 77 of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 is about Determination of a monopoly situation by the Commission. It is under Part X (Monopoly) of the Act.

For the purposes of this Part, a monopoly situation shall be taken to exist in relation to the-

(a) supply of goods or services of any description; or

(b) import and export of goods and services of any description from Nigeria, to the extent it has an effect on competition in a market in Nigeria, as may be prescribed in regulations made by the Commission.
