Section 860 CAMA 2020

Section 860 Companies and Allied Matters Act is about Electronic documents. It is under Chapter 2 (Miscellaneous and supplemental) of the Act.

(1) Any document required to be filed with the Commission for registration may be filed electronically.

(2) A copy or extract from any document electronically filed with theCommission or issued by the Commission and certified to be a true copy or extract shall in any proceedings be admissible in evidence as of equal validity with the original documents.

(3) Any information supplied by the Commission and certified to be a true extract from any document filed with it shall be admissible in evidence and presumed, unless evidence to the contrary is adduced, to be a true extract from such document.
