Section 96 Nigerian Copyright Act 2022

Section 96 Copyright Act

Section 96 Copyright Act 2022 is about Power to accept gifts. It is under Part XII (Miscellaneous Provisions) of the Act.

(1) The Commission may accept gift of land, money or other property upon such terms and conditions, if any, as may be specified by the person or organisation making the gift.

(2) The Commission shall not accept any gift where the conditions attached by the person or organisation making the gift are inconsistent with the functions and objectives of the Commission.

(3) A gift donated to the Commission or project of the Commission shall be made directly to the Commission and shall be utilised only for the purpose.
