Section 99 Civil Aviation Act 2022

Section 99 of the Civil Aviation Act 2022 is about Permit to foreign air operators. It is under Part XVI (Supplementary Provisions Relating to Licences and Permits) of the Act.

(1) A foreign air operator shall not engage in commercial air transport within Nigeria unless it has been issued a permit.

(2) Application for a permit shall be made in writing to the Director-General and shall be in such form and contain such information as the Authority shall require.

(3) The Authority may alter, amend, modify, or suspend any such permit, in whole or in part, for failure to comply with any provision of this section or any order, rule, regulation or directive issued or given under it or any term,
condition, or limitation of such permit.

(4) Any interested person may file with the Authority a protest or memorandum in support of or in opposition to the alteration, amendment, modification, suspension, or revocation of a permit under subsection (3).
