United Nations Security Council Resolution 152 – Admission of new Members to the UN: Congo

152 (1960), Resolution of 23 August 1960

The Security Council,

Having examined the application of the Republic of the Congo,

Recommends to the General Assembly that the Republic of the Congo be admitted to membership in the United Nations.

Adopted unanimously at the 891st meeting.
