United Nations Security Council Resolution 172 – Admission of new Members to the UN: Republic of Rwanda

172 (1962). Resolution of 26 Joly 1962

The Security Council,

Having examined the application of the Republic of Rwanda for admission to the United Nations,

Recommends to the General Assembly that the Republic of Rwanda be admitted to membership in the United Nations.

Adopted unanimously at the 1017th meeting.
