United Nations Security Council Resolution 243 – Admission of new Members to the UN: Democratic Yemen

Resolution 243 (1967) of 12 December 1967

The Security Council,

Having examined the application of the People’s Republic of Southern Yemen for admission to the United Nations,

Recommends to the General Assembly that the People’s Republic of Southern Yemen be admitted to membership in the United Nations.

Adopted unanimously at the 1384th meeting.
