United Nations Security Council Resolution 491 – Admission of a new Member: Belize

Resolution 491 (1981) of 23 September 1981

The Security Council,

Having examined the application of Belize for admission to the United Nations,

Recommends to the General Assembly that Belize should be admitted to membership in the United Nations.

Adopted unanimously at the 2302nd meeting.
