Rule 15 LPDC Rules 2020

Rule 15 of the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC) Rules 2020 is about Adjournment for Association to investigate. It provides as follows:

In the case of an Originating Application by a person other than the Association, the Committee may, where it is of the view that the case is one of doubt or difficulty direct the Secretary to notify the Association of the Originating Application to enable the Association to carry out its own investigations and-

(a) if it thinks fit, initiate its own Originating Application; or

(b) by agreement with the applicant, undertake the prosecution of the Originating Application.
