Rule 17 LPDC Rules 2020
Rule 17 of the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC) Rules 2020 is about Giving of false evidence. It provides as follows:
If any person willfully gives false evidence on oath before the Disciplinary Committee during the course of any proceedings or willfully makes a false statement in any affidavit sworn for the purposes of any such proceedings the Disciplinary Committee shall refer the matter to the appropriate Attorney-General for necessary action.
